Real jobs, real outcomes

A few recent calls from Austin and Central Texas. Names withheld; the work is the point.

Northwest Hills, 78731

First-time Tesla owner, garage on the opposite side of the house

The new owner picked up a Model Y on a Friday and called us Monday. Panel was on the south side; the garage was 65 feet away through a finished attic. We did a load calc, mapped a clean conduit route, and pulled the City of Austin permit the same week.

Outcome

Tesla Wall Connector live by the following Saturday. Inspector signed off first pass. Customer charged overnight for the first time the same evening.

Hyde Park, 78751

Rivian R1S with a 100-amp panel from 1998

The existing panel couldn't support a Level 2 charger without sacrificing the AC or the dryer. Rather than push a charger onto a stressed service, we upgraded the panel to 200A first and reserved capacity for a future second EV.

Outcome

Upgraded service, installed the Rivian charger, and left the family with a panel that's ready for whatever comes next — including future solar.

East Austin, 78702

Small fleet of three Ford Lightnings at a contractor's office

A general contractor needed three Charge Station Pro units at his shop with scheduling to avoid demand-charge spikes. We coordinated with the building's existing service and staged the chargers on separate circuits.

Outcome

All three units commissioned, labeled, and load-balanced. Owner now charges trucks overnight on off-peak rates with no nuisance trips.

FAQ

Questions answered.

Don't see your question? Reach out — we'll respond within 48 hours.

How long does an EV charger install take?

Most residential Level 2 installations are completed in a single visit, typically 3–6 hours depending on panel location and run distance.

Do I need a panel upgrade for a Level 2 EV charger?

Not always. We complete a load calculation first. Many 200A panels handle a Level 2 charger without an upgrade; older 100A panels often need one.

Do you pull permits?

Yes — all EV charger installs are permitted with the City of Austin or relevant jurisdiction and pass inspection.

Which chargers do you install?

Tesla Wall Connector, Ford Charge Station Pro, Rivian, ChargePoint Home Flex, Wallbox Pulsar Plus, Emporia, and most major Level 2 brands.

Can you install in a condo or townhome?

Often yes, with HOA approval and panel access. We work with property managers and HOAs regularly.
